Ahaus recently worked with a contract medical manufacturing company with advanced capabilities to produce complex medical devices and implants.
The customer desired integration with their current welding equipment, load flexibility, and poke yokes and inspection to ensure parts are correct before leaving the assembly area. Using LVDT inspection, vision inspection and Scara robots, Ahaus was able to deliver a fully automated cell with manual backup capability for assembly, inspection, and welding of the customer’s parts.
